Driving Directions from Faro Airport to the Casa Beachcomber

1. Prior to leaving Faro Airport, please ring or text our caretaker at Casa Beachcomber on (+351) 962 028 832 to inform him you are on your way. He will meet you on your arrival at Casa Beachcomber.
2. Leaving the Airport car park, follow the signs for the exit and keep to the right hand side on approach to the main airport roundabout. Follow the Slip road off to the right onto a dual carriageway, and follow signs in the direction of A22 Lisbon/Faro/Portimão.
3. After driving for 1.5km, and passing under 2 bridges, there is a slip road off to the right with a sign marked Faro. (DO NOT TAKE THIS 1st SLIP ROAD). Continue a further 75m and take the SECOND SLIP ROAD leading off to the right marked A22 direction – Lisbon/Portimão/Loule.
4. This slip road leads onto the N125 dual carriageway heading towards Portimão. You will pass multiple car dealers on your left and right. After approx. 4.5km, make sure to move (IN PLENTY OF TIME) into the left-hand lane and take the left-hand fork which leads onto a dual carriageway, always following the sign A22 direction – Lisboa/Portimao/Albufeira.
5. Continue along this dual-carriageway still following the signs to Loulé and A22 Lisboa, passing the (blue) football stadium, (Estadio Faro-Loulé) on the right. Continue on until you approach the second overpass bridge. The first slip road to the right leads to Spain. (DO NOT TAKE THIS SLIP ROAD!). Continue under the bridge, Ikea in front of you and after 30m, there is a second slip road leading off to the right signed A22. – Lisbon/Portimão/Vilamoura. Take this slip road.
6. Continue Westward on the A22 in the direction of Albufeira, Lagoa, Portimão, Lagos.
7. Leave A22 on Exit 2, (signed Odiaxere/Lagos Este). Follow the slip road continue about 400m off to the right, in the direction of Lagos, which leads towards a roundabout.
8. Turn right at the roundabout and join N125 heading toward Lagos. You will pass 2 BP Petrol Stations, one on either side of the road, you will see Pingo Doce supermarket/ construction site ahead and then to your left. Continue on this dual carriageway, cross a river bridge and approach a big roundabout with Police station in front of you. Bear left at the roundabout and do a double back (360º) heading back in the same direction that you have just come from.
9. Bear right, the Pingo Doce is now on your right, follow the slip road heading toward a roundabout, passing Pingo Doce entrance (1st exit). Take the 3rd exit at this roundabout in the direction of Lagos Marina and Meia Praia.
10. You will approach another roundabout. Take the 3rd exit @ 270º (the 1st exit towards Lagos Marina), up the hill to Albadeira / Caliças.
11. At the top of the hill you will pass Vitasol Park, mini markets, shops and apartment blocks on the left. Then on the right, the Condominium Anastacia. Here, the road levels off and forks into a V junction. Follow the left-hand fork Estrada Da Albardeira and continue on this road until you approach the sign ‘’Mandarin’’ entrance on your left.
12. Turn left by the “Mandarin” entrance and continue up the road. Ignore the first turning on the Right. Casa Beachcomber is about 250 metres, next turning on the right with a black gate by a gatehouse with ‘Casa Beachcomber’ sign post by the gate. Key pad for the gate is on the wall on the left.
